I have one major calling in life: to be a Spanish teacher. I've known this concrete fact since before I graduated high school. I am currently a Senior double majoring in K-12 Spanish Education as well as Spanish at the University of Toledo. I am putting my ideas into practice while student teaching this semester at Monroe High School. I am confident that my enthusiasm, love of the language, and desire to work with Spanish language learners will assist me in successfully developing the skills students need to learn and use Spanish. I want to be a facilitator to students who are able to become independent, excited learners who step outside of their comfort zone in my classroom and learn a very valuable 21st century skill.
